Additionally, the use of aircraft grade 6061 T6 Aluminium in the IM2. 5 offers improved cooling, which in turn means a shock absorber which can run harder, for longer, without diminishing its performance. Aluminium is known for its improved heat management, and has 4 times the thermal conductivity of steel.
